The Blood & The Bones

You came along

And everything changed

Dimmed lights, fully lit

And now I cannot see forward

Nor could I ever look back

And, so, in this foggy dusk

it seems I must remain

But, how can I

As I’ve seen love and myself

Fully illuminated

And nothing will ever look the same

Turn the lights off
