yet cunning enough to fool those around us

we feed on the violent sound of skin hitting skin and breaking it open

we feed on fucking and self degradation

we feed on pain and the hurt beyond what the body feels

so I come to you on my knees

I will take the hits, the cuts, the bruises

I will beg you for this toxic love, the words that cut me to the bone

I will bleed for you forever

because you are the only one who will ever understand

this addiction
