And I wonder..

When the next girl doesn’t like the way you do things, will you give up on her too? What if she’s a good one, like me? What if she sticks around when no one else would? What if she has the potential to make you happy? What if she likes what you like when so few do?

What if she wants to make it work because she sees something in you most don’t but she doesn’t want to be the only one who thinks this is something different?

And what if she doesn’t like the way you keep yourself at such a distance that no one can reach you? Will you make her feel stupid for thinking if she gave you one more chance it would get better? Will you make her think you want her just to turn around and treat her like she was just a thing to do? Will you be angry with her for trying to get to know you on a deeper level than all the others? Or when she doesn’t understand why you won’t put in even just a little bit of the effort she does? And, when you’ve had enough of her calling you out on all the things you’re doing to destroy what could be something so good, will you just disappear on her too? Moving on to the next girl .. the next one you’ll disappoint?

Knocking them down, just keep knocking them down.

How many good girls can you waste? How many can you throw away before you’ve had enough of your own bullshit?

You say you’re scared you’ll die alone somewhere. If you do, it will be because of this and nothing else. You have a lot to give. You just refuse to give it.
