The Blood & The Bones

Inspired by “The masculine American male is a dying breed..”

Masculine men have been labeled as toxic, vulgar, violent and villainous. They have been asked to back down, to become softer, smoother displays of feminized masculinity. We are told that men who carry, hunt & value protecting their family & rights are not the answer & that the man willing to use violence is not acceptable. That the savage & the gentleman cannot exist & there is no place in today’s world for the masculine male.

Society would like us to believe that the beta male is the only acceptable form of man. That you cannot be a successful male if you are the manly, armed, Alpha man men used to be allowed to pride themselves on being. Society thinks men should cower from bullies, walk on eggshells & soften themselves to appease others.

From the lips of a woman I say FUCK THAT.

Dear Society, did you know men can be rough around the edges & still be kind, loving, objective & intelligent? Did you know some women still want that kind of man? Women like me.. a traditional but modern female, because women can be hybrids too, who understands the value of the Alpha male. The protector, the provider, the head of the household. I still value this even if society tries to tell me I shouldn’t. And my son will be raised in the same manner..He will be kind, smart, open minded & sensitive. He will defend himself if bullied & stand up for those around him that need protection. He will learn to use a gun & open the doors. He will read books on philosophy & ones on essential deadly skills. He will learn to love & protect. He will be taught that people are different but he will not be made to fit into a box that makes others comfortable at the expense of his own comfort & identity.

Balance is achievable. As you are who you want to be, you must allow this of others. You cannot scream that you want to be what you desire but protest the fact that others deserve this freedom too.

And lastly, society, I ask you, when there are wars to be fought & battles to be won, who do you think is going to protect us? Who will you send to kill the bad guys? Who do you send when there’s a wolf at the door?

Another goddamn WOLF.

So, carry your weapons, protect what you love & refuse to conform. You are the last of a dying breed.
