The Blood & The Bones

2024.

May this year handle you gently but also push you to become a more intuitive, thoughtful, heart guided, stronger and grateful version of you.

May you find in yourself the person you needed when you were younger and forgiveness, for those who may have failed you unintentionally, so that the weight of their negligence is lifted from your shoulders. You have carried it long enough.

May you have the strength to be better for yourself, that is enough, but also for those who you love and who love you in return.

I pray you catch more sunrises and sunsets, more occasions of belly aching laughter, see brighter shades of beauty in the world that surrounds you, hold more hands, see more falling stars, embrace change, gratitude and others. I hope you’ll find yourself in moments you’ll keep for always.

I ask you to have the guts to tell people you love them and, whenever warranted, that you are proud of them. And that you will do it often. This world will take people when we are not ready to lose them leaving us with too many words left unsaid. Say them now.

Whatever or whomever it is that you want to be, I hope you will have the fearlessness and faith to move in that direction. You do have it in you. You always have. And I believe in you.

I pray you find the bravery inside you to continue pushing forward and on days when you need to rest, you will take time to do so as this is just as important as gaining ground.

And I hope, more than anything you will find the courage to be kind, to be patient, to have grace and to have this not only for others but for yourself.

This is my manifestation. My prayer. 2024 is the year I do everything with this end goal in mind. It is the year I change my name. It is the year I stop saying yes to what does not serve me. It is the year I take steps in the direction of true happiness and break my ties with fillers that only slow me down. And I hope it will be the year my art, my soul, my confessions are printed and bound and I can say, I finally did it. Some of the these things are already in motion. The rest will come now that I finally see the strength and determination I possess.
